Our Story.

DESCO Firearm Solutions started the way a lot of great ideas do, around an ice cold beer. After Gabe married into the family and cracked a cold one with DESCO CEO Christian, they got to chatting.

Somewhere in that conversation, the question came up:

“If there are so many other companies out there manufacturing suppressors… why can’t we?”

Turns out, there were plenty of reasons why not…

What followed was an uphill battle of trial and error, setbacks, learning, and small victories along the way. But with a background in precision manufacturing and a team willing to stick with it, that idea slowly turned into something real.

Today, DESCO Firearm Solutions is built on that mindset: Persistence, Precision, Performance

Meet the founder.

Gabe grew up in small-town Nebraska with a passion for recreational shooting that started early and only grew stronger. By the time he was a teenager, he was competing in trap leagues and saving every spare dollar for gear and ammo.

After high school, Gabe attended the U.S. Naval Academy, where he joined the High Power Rifle Team — a formative experience that taught him the importance of precision shooting, consistency, and performance under pressure. Upon graduation, Gabe served as a Surface Warfare Officer, completing multiple tours aboard the USS LASSEN (DDG 82) and USS MILWAUKEE (LCS 5), before finishing his active duty service at Naval Station Great Lakes.

During that time, his interest in NFA items deepened, and he began exploring how the right gear could elevate performance. Eventually, that curiosity turned into conviction: it was time to build something better.
